Durga Puja
For Pujo
Five days, ten looks, no repeats
Pujo is five days of dressing up, often twice a day. Mornings mean anjali and something graceful. Evenings mean pandal hopping, adda and long queues for bhog. We built this page so you can plan a different drape for each of them, and we'd start planning well before Mahalaya.
Satin is the backbone. Wine, emerald and fiery red satins come finished with bronze or gold pendants, and our ombre satins pair chocolate with green. Net sarees with embroidery and scalloping feel dressier, while the silver and gold lace-edged drapes stay light on the shoulder. Plum, sangria and midnight blue keep the reds company.
Our favourite Ashtami look is a red satin with a white sequin blouse. Go darker for Navami nights, and keep a red-bordered saree aside for Sindoor Khela on Dashami. For dhunuchi naach, the accordion pre-draped sarees and the overlap dhoti saree with a belt mean no pins to fix in a crowded lane.
Want a tighter edit? Dasham 2.0 is our red, white and gold capsule, and our pandal-hopping edit leans into weaves.
Good to know
What should I wear for Ashtami anjali?
Red, white or a red-and-white combination is the classic choice. A saree with a contrast border or lace edge looks lovely in the morning light.
Are there blouses on this page too?
Yes, ready-made sequin, halter and drawstring blouses are mixed in. Our structured ready-made blouses come padded, so you won't need separate innerwear.
Can any saree here be made pre-draped?
Yes. Any Swtantra saree can be stitched into our patented Less than a Minute drape for ₹1,299, with the pleats sewn in and elastic at the back.
