Dasham 2.0 | The Festive Collection
A Dasham capsule
Red, white and gold, the colours of Pujo
Dasham 2.0 is a smaller, more considered capsule within our Pujo range. We built it around the colours that feel most like Durga Puja to us: red and white first, then yellow, peacock blue and deep metallics. These are the sarees that tend to end up in the family album.
The whites are the heart of it. There's a white gold organza with multicolour hand embroidery, a hand-beaded hill georgette, white tepchi chikankari on pure georgette and a cotton Chanderi with a gold border. The reds answer back with embroidered Chanderi, a posh velvety saree with embroidery and georgette with gold print. Banarasi tissue in copper and Maldives blue adds a little shine.
With red and white, we'd keep jewellery traditional: shakha-pola style bangles, a big bindi and a gold neckpiece. With hand-embroidered organza, let the saree lead and wear small studs. Most pieces come with blouse fabric, so you can have a blouse stitched to your own fit. Love the whites? Our white and neutral sarees carry more of them all year.
Good to know
What is the Dasham collection?
Dasham is our Durga Puja capsule. This edition focuses on red, white, gold and metallic sarees with richer handwork, while its sister edit for pandal hopping leans into weaves.
Which saree is right for Sindoor Khela?
A red-and-white or red-bordered saree is the classic choice. Pick a fabric you won't mind getting vermilion on, like cotton Chanderi or printed georgette.
How do I keep a white embroidered saree from yellowing?
Dry clean it before you put it away, then wrap it in soft cotton cloth. Keep it out of direct light between Pujos.
