Festive Collection
A note from Swtantra
Festival season is saree season
Every festival asks for its own colours, so we've laid them out for you. Reds, maroons and golds for Karva Chauth and the Diwali pooja. Bright satins and chiffons for Navratri. Red and white for Durga Puja.
Festive doesn't have to mean heavy. Most of these are light satin, chiffon, organza or silk blends, paired with a blouse that does the talking. You can sit through a long pooja and still dance afterwards. You'll find festive suits and blouses mixed in too. And on mornings when the whole family is getting ready at once, our pre-draped festive styles are a lifesaver.
When the pooja ends and the party begins, switch to a sequin or metallic drape. It's kinder on the budget than you might expect: over half of our festive range is under ₹2,999.
Dressing for one festival in particular? Karva Chauth, Navratri and Durga Puja each have a page of their own.
Good to know
Which colour should I wear for Karva Chauth?
Red, maroon and pink are traditional. A red satin with a gold blouse is a classic we never tire of.
Will my order arrive before Diwali?
Delhi NCR orders usually arrive in 1–2 days and the rest of India in 3–7. Courier volumes peak in festival week, so order a little early.
Do you have festive suits as well?
Yes. A few are mixed in here, and our festive suits page has the full range.
