Lehengas
A note from Swtantra
For the nights you'll want to remember
A lehenga tells everyone you've come to celebrate. Ours come as complete sets: the lehenga, a dupatta and either a blouse or blouse fabric, so the big decisions are already made for you.
Our sequin lehengas, like Candy Mint, Cloud Dancer iridescent, Black Glamour and Diva Maroon, are made for cocktail nights and catch every light on the dance floor. The hand-worked pieces are richer, like our satin lehengas in fuchsia, emerald and pink-blue metallic with cut dana embroidery. There's also a maroon paisley chiffon and a Haldi Banarasi tissue lehenga with beading.
Since most sets include blouse fabric rather than a stitched blouse, give yourself time with your tailor. With sequins, keep jewellery minimal: chandbalis or one statement ring is plenty. Satin and tissue with cut dana work can carry a choker or a layered kundan set.
Prefer flared pants? A few sharara sets live here too, and our lehenga and sharara page helps you choose between them. For the rest of the wedding week, have a look at our bridesmaid picks.
Good to know
Does the lehenga come with a stitched blouse?
Most sets include unstitched blouse fabric so you can have it tailored to you. A few mention a blouse instead, so please check the product page for exactly what's included.
Which lehenga is best for a cocktail party?
Our sequin lehengas in black, maroon, mint and iridescent white. Pair one with a sleek blouse cut and a metallic potli.
How should I wear the dupatta?
Over one shoulder for dancing, or pinned across both for the ceremony photos. Keep heels moderate if it's going to be a long night.
