Knit & Stretch Blouses
Styling notes
Stretch, with a little shine
If fit is the reason you've avoided ready-made blouses, start here. Stretch fabric meets you halfway, so a fixed size matters far less. And this page goes beyond basics, with blouses that have real evening finish.
The shine is what we love. The High Stretch Red Glam and Night Sky comfort blouses have a glossy surface that looks lovely under party lights. The Emerald Shine does the same in deep green. There are stretchy black blouses in short and long sleeves, and knit halters in black and silver.
Most pull on over the head with nothing to fasten, which makes them handy for quick changes between functions. The high-stretch comfort styles are sized in bust bands from 28 to 44 inches, so being between sizes is rarely a problem.
Reach for these when sequins feel like too much. A Night Sky blouse with a navy chiffon is our idea of a work party. The silver halter is an easy match for metallic or grey drapes. For all-out sparkle, move over to our sequin blouses. For plain everyday cuts, see our knit blouses.
Good to know
Will a stretch blouse fit if I'm between sizes?
Usually, yes. The high-stretch comfort blouses come in bust bands from 28 to 44 inches, which covers in-between sizes.
Can I wear a stretch blouse to a party?
Absolutely. The Red Glam, Night Sky and Emerald Shine blouses are made for evenings.
How should I wash a shiny stretch blouse?
Hand wash in cold water or dry clean. Don't wring it, and dry it in the shade to protect the finish.
