Party Wear & Cocktails
When the invite says cocktail attire
What do I wear tonight? For us, the answer is very often a cocktail saree. It's lighter than a lehenga, more striking than a dress, and quicker to put on than you'd think.
Expect full-sequin and sequin-border drapes, satins finished with pendants and lace, and embroidered nets, in black, gold, metallics and deep jewel tones. The blouse does a lot of the work here, so give our bustier, off-shoulder and sleeveless sequin styles a proper look.
Keep it balanced. A heavy blouse wants a plain saree, and a busy saree wants a quiet blouse. Finish with a sequin waist belt or a potli, and stop at one bold piece of jewellery. We reach for these at sangeets, receptions, award nights, anniversary parties and the office annual party.
Dancing through the sangeet? Choose the Less than a Minute conversion on the product page and your saree arrives pre-draped, so it stays in place all night.
Good to know
How is a cocktail saree different from a regular one?
Mostly in fabric and styling. It's satin, sequin, net or metallic, draped slimmer and worn with a fitted, often sleeveless blouse.
Can I wear one to a sangeet?
Absolutely. Sequin and satin are made for sangeet nights, and a pre-draped style makes the dancing easier.
Is there anything under ₹3,000?
Yes. Use the price filter on this page, or have a look at everything under ₹2,999.
