Pooja Blouses
Made for sitting cross-legged through a havan
A pooja blouse has a quieter job than a party one. You'll sit on the floor, bend to light the diya and move between the kitchen and the mandir for hours. So we chose blouses with sleeves, sensible necklines and fabrics that look traditional without feeling heavy.
Look for the short-sleeve kundan applique styles in ecru and mustard, and the cap-sleeve prints in blue marble and jade. Our jacquards come in wine, magenta and grey, each with a small back detail like a keyhole. On a hot morning, the organza V-necks in raven black and liquid gold feel lightest.
Most of these are pairing pieces for sarees you already own. A gold Uppada blouse with lace on the sleeves suits almost any silk or cotton. A mustard kundan blouse lifts a plain red or green saree for Ganesh Chaturthi or a Satyanarayan katha. Our pooja sarees are chosen with the same comfort in mind.
When the pooja is the main event, like a griha pravesh or a wedding-week ritual, step up to the zari Aangi or the reversible Ulta Pulta. Our full festive range has more for the evening that follows.
Good to know
Can I wear a sleeveless blouse to a pooja?
Many families are fine with it, but sleeves feel safer for temple visits and elders at home. Our blouses with sleeves make that choice easy.
Do I need a separate bra under these?
Not with the structured styles. They come padded, which keeps a pooja morning simple.
Which blouse goes with a red pooja saree?
Gold, mustard and green are the classic choices. A gold Uppada or the mustard kundan blouse is our pick.
